Archiving Grids helps organize and clean up your CMS projects by hiding completed Grids from your active workspace. It preserves your important data while preventing accidental changes.

What happens when you archive a Grid

      When you archive a Grid:

      • The Grid becomes read-only - no changes can be made to the content.
      • All existing data and translations are preserved.
      • You can still view and export the Grid's content.
      • TMS Jobs cannot be delivered back to archived Grids, you must unarchive the Grid first to receive TMS Job deliveries.
      • The Grid is hidden from the CMS Project dashboard by default.

You can choose to show or hide archived Grids from the Project dashboard with the Show archived Grids toggle.

      Archive a Grid

      1. In your CMS Project dashboard, hover at the Grid you want to archive and click theicon.
      2. Select Archive Grid.
      3. In the confirmation dialog, click Archive to confirm.

      Unarchive a Grid

      1. Enable the Show archived Grids toggle to make archived Grids visible.
      2. Hover at the Grid you want to archive and click theicon.
      3. Select Unarchive Grid from the context menu. The Grid will immediately become editable again.
